HIZLI MENÜ
Hıdırlık Tekke +

Hıdırlık Tekke, also known as Hızır Dede and Hızır Dede Hünkar Tekke, belongs to the Bektashi order and was built by Melek. It is learnt from the sources that it existed before the conquest of Edirne and was protected as the seat of Hızır. After the conquest, Gazi Hüdavendigar also showed interest in the tekke and had cellars, cells, warehouses and almshouses built here. In 1427, Yahya Bey, the son of Gazi Mihal Bey, built classrooms and various asylums and maxuris on one side. The lodge, which was ruined in time, was demolished in 1535 and started to be rebuilt by Vizier-i Azam İbrahim Pasha. Upon the death of İbrahim Pasha, it was completed by Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent. Today, there is only the tomb of Hıdır Baba in the mentioned place. The tomb does not have any feature belonging to its original structure.
