Hacılar Ezanı Namazgah and Fountain

Hacılar Ezanı Namazgah has a square plan. The structure resting on four legs is built of smooth cut stone. It is covered with a dome. The namazgah, which is open on four sides, has a baldeken form and round arches. Pilgrim candidates used to come here before going on pilgrimage, recite the adhan and sacrifice. For this reason, the building takes its name from here. In front of the namazgah is a rectangular fountain made of cut stone. The fountain façade is organised in three lines. Floors are separated by mouldings. In the section reserved for the mirror of the fountain, there is no original mirror. There are repair and construction inscriptions on the middle and upper floors. On the sides of the fountain, protruding pillars carry the stone porch by taking the form of a console on top.
